Michael Picarella

Writer, Director

A film and corporate video writer-director, a writer and a journalist, Michael Picarella has worked with Napolitan Productions since 1998.

Among some of Picarella’s work, his film experience includes writing and directing feature length movies “1 2 3” and “Punchcard Player,” his corporate video experience includes writing for the Boys and Girls Clubs and United Religions Initiative and he has covered—as a reporter—President George W. Bush, U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, actor/director/producer Rob Reiner, comedian/actor Jamie Fox, actor Danny Glover, blues performer B.B. King and many more notable figures.

In 1999, Picarella received his BFA degree in Motion Pictures and Video from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.

Picarella strives to create entertaining and informative work; he prides himself in meeting a client’s needs and he enjoys challenges.
